yes...this was supposed to be for last year (year of the rat) but considering how lazy/busy I was, I never ended up finishing it. Nevermind! Happy chinese new year of the ox 2009 xD
Much thanks to llifi-kei for showing me these brush technique, I went crazy with it while I was colouring this. This is by far my most complicated picture ever - I liked it at the beginning but now I think it's too colourful.
PS: I can't really remember why, but the chilli crabs are for meeowx.
awesome! i love chinese new year, i was born in the year of the ram ^^

Lol doesn't mean 'laugh out loud' anymore. It either means 'I can't think of anything to say' or 'I understand you've tried to be funny, and I appreciate the effort, I didn't actually laugh yet I feel morally obliged to lie to you.'
I really love this, I can't believe you managed to fit so many people in there!! The soft shading, the bright, vibrant colours... it is just beautiful! ^__^
One of my favourite parts is those red flags flapping in the wind... they just look so alive! The person at the top looks really cool, too. xD
Now, for the constructive crits...
- The person at the top is really cool, but she looks a bit thin... as though someone has cut out a chunk of her left torso, to be blunt.
- The face and the chopsticks in the bottom left corner looks a bit odd... a disembodied head floating in mid-air? o__O;
There are, perhaps, more minor things... but they could always be excused. But it still looks AWESOME overall, and you have made me sad and want to draw again... T____T

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
