It's really good, especially since I think it's quite difficult to make the backs of people look nice. xD

I just have 3 things to say:

1. Are the ribbons meant to be tied randomly to the pigtails, not over the hair ties?

2. Nice shading, but I still think you should blur it here and there to make it look softer!

3. You should use a darker blue, perhaps less saturated, otherwise it doesn't really look like shadows any more. xD

4. (Because I can't count) If I wanted to be really picky, I'd mention that you'd probably want to have the vertical piece of wood going from light to dark, since the overhanging piece would probably block out a lot of light. ^^

And yay, that is it!

But now you make me want to draw again...

But I always overcomplicate things so I can't just draw quick 3 hour pieces unless they're extended chibis... @____@;;; -flails-

I tried cell shading coz I was running out of time! lol (went to see Jumper tonight) and ah, I forgot about the wood. :______; <--- (now I'm using YOUR emoticon thingys)

I thought about what you said before when I did this picture. You notice, this is the exact same style as the one I used for illustrating that religion book for kids. The "image of God" one...I still have it. Do you still have your essay?
